The Duke of Sussex delivered an emotional speech Saturday, saying, 'You have shown us that joy can emerge from struggle.'
This is the sixth staging of the Games, an international competition for wounded and sick military personnel and veterans, first founded by Harry in 2014. At Saturday’s closing ceremonies, the couple attended in high fashion: Meghan, 42, wore a green strapless gown, and Harry, 39, went with an all-black, tie-free ensemble., he gave in both German and English, in a nod to the host country.
"We've all witnessed the true impact sport has had on your recovery. But you will never truly know the impact your actions this week have had on millions of people around the world," he said. "You have opened people’s hearts, through your vulnerability, through your resilience, and your sheer abilities. You have shown us that joy can emerge from struggle."
