Building things could help stimulate critical thinking and problem-solving skills, especially in kids, by focusing on hands-on learning and showing how these
ideas fit into everyday life.
We’re calling all kids with a passion for building to join the LEGO-building workshop launched by LegoLift, a social enterprise under the Young Leadership Academy.LegoLift aims to help low-income college students while getting primary school kids to learn more about STEM . The workshops are set up to inspire and engage students in a fun and hands-on way. They include not just LEGO-building but also robotics, so kids get to explore the STEM world while learning new skills.Students will dive into STEM concepts through LEGO projects, all guided by low-income undergrad students who are looking to make a difference in their communities.
These workshops are not just fun but also help support underprivileged students on their path to success. The LEGO-building sessions include 3 key modules such as introduction to biomechatronic, lower limb design, and humanoid robotics. The workshops happen every Saturday on September 14th, 21st, and 28th, from 9 AM to 11:30 AM at the University of Malaya, and certificates will be provided to those who participate in all 3 modules! So, if you want to channel your creativity into something awesome, make sure to register with them!Source: Instagram | legolift2024 Source: Instagram | legolift2024 Source: Instagram | legolift2024
