The Fair Park festivities begin on June 4 with the family-friendly festival, a day of live music and dance performances, activities for kids, a Teen Pride area, a Family Pride zone, shopping, concessions and animal rescue groups.
June 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Dallas Comedy Club, 3036 Elm St., Dallas. $10.Dallas divas will lip-sync their hearts out during brunch at the Commons Club, the restaurant inside the Design District hotel. Dallas diva Jenni P hosts a lineup of drag queens includingcontestant Kennedy Davenport. There are two seatings for brunch, and reservations are required.
June 5 and 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Primo’s MX Kitchen and Lounge, 3309 McKinney Ave., Dallas. No cover; food and drink prices vary.The Dallas Arboretum celebrates Pride Month during this themed day. Visitors can take in the giant floral peacock topiaries and listen to live music in the garden. Shop in a pop-up market set up in the main entry. Visit the garden-inspired mural installation and strike a pose in front of the Pride floral selfie wall.
Festival and Pool Party with performances by City Girls, Saucy Santana and Moneybagg Yo. June 18 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Samuell-Grand Aquatic Center, 3201 Samuell Blvd., Dallas. $25. June 17 from 6 p.m. to midnight in the Dallas Arts District, on Flora Street between Harwood and Pearl streets, Dallas. Free.Rainbow flags and beads are encouraged at the Pride edition of Gaybingo with special guest Patti Le Plae Safe.
