President Bola Tinubu will, tomorrow, inaugurate a negotiation committee for a new national minimum wage. The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, conveyed the approval of the President to commence the negotiations.
President Bola Tinubu will, tomorrow, inaugurate a negotiation committee for a new national minimum wage . In a letter, with reference number ‘58957/S.1/T6/X’ sent to persons invited to the inauguration and sighted by The Guardian, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume , conveyed the approval of the President to commence the negotiations.
The letter read in part: “I write to inform you that Mr President has approved the inauguration of the Tripartite Committee on National Minimum Wage. The inauguration will take place on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, State House, Abuja at 12.00 noon prompt. Members are to be seated by 11:30 a.m. Kindly note that a shuttle bus will be available at the pilot gate to convey members to the venue from 10.00 a.m
