He promised that there would be a series of activities leading to the Nationwide Deployment Plan launch of the programme on May 29. “PCNGI is embarking on an extensive pre-launch itinerary aimed at engaging stakeholders, showcasing critical gas supply projects and facilitating the conversion and refuelling infrastructure across the nation.

According to him, as long as CNG vehicles were competing with diesel and petrol vehicles in terms of Customs duty, Nigerians would remain reluctant to adopt the new technology. The visit by the presidential candidate of Labour Party in the 2023 polls, Peter Obi, to his Peoples Democratic Party co-contestant, Atiku Abubakar, and others has been generating reactions.Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress of Nigeria said they have decided to walk out of ongoing negotiations after the Federal Government and the Organised Private Sector offered a national minimum wage proposal of N48,000 and N54,000 respectively.
