Timbalan Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif Proton, Datuk Radzaif Mohamed berkata, Persona dilancarkan pada 2007 merupakan model kedua paling laris selepas Saga dengan jualan sebanyak 322,623 buah kenderaan di rantau ASEAN, Asia Barat serta Australia.
Persona 2019 menampilkan garisan luaran baharu menggambarkan imej sambungan pintar ditambah beberapa elemen estetika dan kemas kini yang membezakan Persona yang dipertingkat dengan model terdahulu. Jentera itu juga membawa elemen keluarga Proton yang baharu termasuk rekaan gril hadapan baharu ‘Ethereal Bow’ sama seperti pada X70.
