🇦🇺 Foetal cells used as “flavouring in fast food”? ❌ The researcher who created the cells decades ago explained they’re only used when testing medicine and food products that are still under development -- they don’t end up in the finished product

Graham said he developed the HEK 293 cell line in January 1973, when he worked in the laboratory of DrHe explained the cells had been derived from a foetus that died from a pregnancy that ended prematurely.
