Despite the switch to electric power, Porsche is confident it will be able to maintain the Macan's stellar sales performance in the long term, the automaker's production chief, Albrecht Reimold, told Germany's"We produce more than 80,000 units per year of the current generation,” he said. “In the long term, we also plan to produce the all-electric Macan on this scale.

Hokkaido would be the first International FIA event held in Japan, Subaru’s home territory. Subaru’s main rivals Mitsubishi would lay on a full Ralliart Works specification Evo 6. 5 for Taguchi in hope of victory. Possum, a 3 Time Asia Pacific Rally Champion and 6 Time Australian Championship would need to rely on all his experience after a heavy rainfall left 20% of the competition out of the running after only two stages. However Bourne would win the first two stages and by the end of leg one would see his advantage stretched to 17 seconds over Taguchi, but it wouldn't come without any incidents!
