A pub in Sydney’s inner west is set to close its doors this weekend after the current management announced its lease had ended and would not be renewed.
However, the group behind the beloved venue, the Odd Culture crew, have announced that the pub will be shutting its doors on Sunday, April 2.“It’s with a heavy heart that we announce our lease is up at the Oxford Tavern,” a statement from the group reads. “It was a saving grace for us, and a lot of people in the industry, through two lockdowns, with our Tav Delivers stint, and a lot of that drew us even closer to the community.”
