In today's rapidly developing world, technology is ubiquitous, and we utilize it in various aspects of our lives, such as smartphones. While smartphones offer numerous benefits, excessive usage can lead to various problems for both children and adults. Recently, a tutor from MC+ tuition center, Iqbal Ahyar, shared information about 'Popcorn brain', a condition resulting from prolonged gadget exposure.

Iqbal explained that he observed a child aged 7 to 8 years old exhibiting signs of 'Popcorn brain' while at a mosque for Friday prayers. He stated that the term 'Popcorn brain' was coined by David Levy in 2011 at the University of Washington, where researchers observed that individuals with excessive screen time (using smartphones, scrolling through social media, watching movies, etc.) developed a phenomenon where their brains become erratic, resembling exploding popcorn kernels. According to Iqbal, individuals with 'Popcorn brain' experience constant shifts in thoughts and difficulty focusing, except when using screens again
