Newcastle Knights star Kalyn Ponga has jetted to the other side of the world to undergo testing from technology that is unavailable in Australia, as he attempts to prolong his rugby league career following another concussion.
Knights’ chief medical officer Dr Jin Lee will travel to Vancouver with the 24-year-old on Friday where he will undergo a series of assessments from technology that is available in America but not yet in Australia.
