Politicians and Social Media Influencers Least Trusted Professions in Malaysia

A recent Ipsos survey reveals that politicians and social media influencers are the least trusted professions in Malaysia, with 41% and 36% of respondents expressing a lack of trust respectively. Ministers ranked third with 35% distrust, followed by advertising executives (30%) and religious leaders (30%). The survey also highlights a global trend of distrust towards politicians, with 58% of people worldwide expressing a lack of confidence in them.

“Rakyat Malaysia khususnya cenderung mempamerkan rasa kurang percaya yang lebih rendah berbanding purata global,” kata Ipsos dalam satu kenyataan. “Bagaimanapun pada peringkat global, kepercayaan terhadap profesion doktor, saintis dan pelayan adalah lebih tinggi daripada rakyat Malaysia.
