Selain itu, beliau berkata senjata sama juga digunakan untuk melarikan tiga mesin pengeluaran wang automatik di Pattani pada 4 Ogos.“Polis percaya anggota kumpulan bersenjata itu turut cedera dalam insiden serangan Selasa lalu. Mereka mungkin bersembunyi dalam hutan berdekatan,” katanya dalam sidang media semalam.
Selasa lalu, 15 individu maut manakala empat orang lagi mengalami kecederaan dalam serangan oleh kumpulan bersenjata di dua pos kawalan keselamatan di Yala. Polis percaya mangsa diserang oleh kira-kira 20 anggota kumpulan bersenjata, pada kira-kira 10.15 malam .
