A policewoman assigned to the Makati City Police was arrested in an entrapment operation on Saturday, March 18, for extorting money from her fellow officers in exchange for a job reassignment.
Philippine National Police-Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group Chief Brig. Gen. Warren de Leon said that an operative held a transaction with Repolles.According to authorities, Repolles said that she has connections with some officials from the Directorate for Personnel and Records Management which enables her to reassign any police officer to his or her desired unit or location in exchange for P30,000.
De Leon said that there are now three complainants testifying against Repolles, who is now facing criminal and administrative charges for robbery-extortion. He warned police officers that they should not pay for their reassignment and only need to get an endorsement from their chief and coordinate with the unit or location where they wish to be transferred.
