Police are treating 19-year-old Krystle Monks's death as suspicious after she collapsed at a home in Bundamba, south-west of Brisbane, on Saturday night.

Queensland detectives are appealing for information from the public as they investigate the suspicious death of a woman who was found unconscious at an Ipswich home.

Police said 19-year-old Krystle Monks collapsed at a property in Bundamba, south-west of Brisbane, about 9:30pm on Saturday, February 4.Detective Acting Superintendent Larissa Miller said police are treating Ms Monks's death as suspicious. "Detectives from Ipswich CIB and from the homicide investigation unit are closely examining the circumstances surrounding her death," Detective Acting Superintendent Miller said."We're still conducting an investigation into all circumstances relating to her death.

"We've been conducting an examination of the property and … that is usual in every death where we have not been given a cause of death." Detective Acting Superintendent Miller confirmed police had been called to the Bundamba home once previously "in the last few months" in response to a domestic violence complaint.She said there was no existing domestic violence orders involving Ms Monks at the time of her death.
