Seattle police are investigating after a man was stabbed in the Capitol Hill neighborhood and a vehicle crashed into the Starbucks Reserve. FOX13
Both incidents occurred at Pike Street and Boren Avenue around the same time, police said, but the incidents are not connected.
Police say a suspect carjacked a Lyft car when the driver went around to the trunk to load it for the passenger. The passenger told FOX 13 that the driver chased the suspect down and hopped into the passenger window to take control of the car. The vehicle crashed into the Starbucks Reserve. A 27-year-old man was stabbed nearby. He is expected to be okay and did not want to be taken to the hospital. Police were able to respond to the crash so quickly because they were already on-scene for the stabbing.
