Police in Ipoh are requesting the public's help in locating three teenage girls who went missing in recent months. The girls, aged 16 and 18, were last seen in October and December 2022.
IPOH , 6 Jan (Bernama) -- Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating three teenage girls reported missing in October and December last year. Ipoh district police chief ACP Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad said Nurul Syuhada Muksin, 18, is believed to have taken a bag of clothes and left the dormitory of a polytechnic here on 9 October.
“The teenager, who hails from Pangsapuri Palma Raja, Bandar Botanic in Klang, Selangor, is estimated to be 152 centimeters (cm) tall, slender and has a brown complexion,” he said in a statement today. Abang Zainal Abidin said members of the public with information can contact investigating officer Sergeant Jhony Anak Bunsu at 012-3019152 or Ampang Baru Police Station 05-5467005. Meanwhile, he said K. Ashwinia, 16, who is still studying at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Jalan Tasek here, was reported missing on 25 December. The teenager, he said, lives at Persiaran Perajurit T6, Taman Syabas here and is 162 cm tall and slender. “Anyone who knows about this teenager can contact investigating officer Sergeant Jamariah Ya’acob at 012-5500883 or Ipoh District Police Headquarters (IPD) 05-2451500,” he said. Abang Zainal Abidin said another teenage girl known as Shomina, 16, who holds a UNHCR card, was reported missing since 24 December. “Shomina, who is not in school and lives in Pasir Puteh here, is 140 cm tall, chubby and has dark skin. “Members of the public with information can contact investigating officer Sergeant Mohamad Azlan Mohd Noor (019-5141791) or IPD Ipoh,” he said.
