Police receive 11 reports, doing 5 investigations on Sandakan polls offences

POLICE have received 11 reports and opened five investigations on campaigning in the Sandakan parliamentary by-election since April 27.

Sabah police commissioner Omar Mammah said one investigation was being conducted under Section 24B of the Election Offences Act 1954, two cases under Section 427 of the Penal Code and one under Section 426 and Section 504.
