Russian police stormed several bars and detained the head of a gay travel agency under laws criminalizing 'LGBT propaganda', marking the first anniversary of the Supreme Court's ban on 'international LGBTQ movements'. At least three bars and nightclubs were raided as part of 'measures to combat LGBT propaganda'.

MOSCOW : Polis Moscow menyerbu beberapa bar dan menahan pengarah sebuah agensi perjalanan gay di bawah undang-undang yang menjenayahkan ‘propaganda LGBT’, lapor media negara.

Menurut agensi berita negara TASS, pasukan keselamatan Russia menyerbu sekurang-kurangnya tiga bar dan kelab malam pada waktu malam sebagai sebahagian daripada ‘langkah untuk memerangi propaganda LGBT’. Rakaman lain menunjukkan orang ramai dibawa keluar dari kelab gay Mono di Moscow dengan tangan mereka di atas kepala, sebelum menaiki sebuah van polis yang diparkir di luar.

Polis juga menahan Pengarah sebuah agensi perjalanan untuk lelaki gay atas tuduhan ‘mengatur lawatan untuk ahli komuniti LGBT’.
