ICYMI: Police presence, student protest at Centennial Collegiate after online allegations
Students gathered inside and outside the building throughout the day. A series of Facebook Live videos taken by a student showed students walking through the lobby and hallways and leaving the building during schools hours.
Police said three school resource officers were present at the school “in regard to allegations made online recently. “Today, we had some additional division staff at the school and a few school resource officers to speak to students and parents and address their questions and concerns,” spokeswoman Veronica Baker said in a statement.
