Police must act on author’s killing threats, veterans group says

THE police should take action against author Helmi Effendy, for advocating the killing of Malay liberals, veterans’ group Persatuan Patriot Kebangsaan said today. “Patriot urges the IGP and the police to take action. Investigate, and if the law is broken, charge the culprit under the Penal Code,” said Patriot president and retired Brig-Gen Mohamad Arshad Raji, who also distanced his group from Helmi.
