Mason Police confirmed they are looking into allegations from 16-year-old female pupil.
On 12/11/19 at 5:02 AM ESTPolice have launched an investigation after a 16-year-old girl claimed she was assaulted by a teacher for wearing a"Women For Trump" pin.
The student did not report any injuries. The girl's mother said she filed a police report after hearing about the incident, alleging criminal assault and larceny."He had no right to put his hands on my child over a pin or anything else," Capi Earegood said."The first amendment gives everyone the right to express their freedom of speech. No one should get that upset about someone wearing a political pin.
"Due to a student being involved and the matter being open, no additional details will be released at this time."
