JUST IN: Police have identified the victim and the suspect in a deadly Friday shooting incident near Kyrene and Guadalupe roads, in which officers were shot at.

At around 5:30 p.m. Friday, an incident occurred between two vehicles near Kyrene and Guadalupe roads, according to Tempe police.

Shortly after the shooting, Tempe police say a male officer pulled up to what he believed was a crash and King began to fire at him. Police say a victim, later identified by police as 29-year-old Agamyrat Agambayev, was later found in the other vehicle dead from a gunshot wound. A short time later, an officer was able to position his vehicle in front of King and give him commands to surrender. He then dropped his gun and was taken into custody.No officers were injured and no officers fired their weapons at any point during the incident, according to Tempe police.Friends gathered Monday night in Tempe to honor Turkmenistan, a loving husband and father.
