Police, govt seek to forfeit RM711 million items seized from Najib

POLICE and Putrajaya are applying to forfeit RM711 million worth of items seized from Najib Razak and his wife last year,The items, which include jewellery, cash, designer handbags, watches and luxury cars, are said to have been bought with 1Malaysia Development Bhd funds. They were confiscated in raids on premises linked to the former prime minister, including luxury condominium units at the Pavilion in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
