Akron Police say they found a woman dead in the driveway of a home that was on fire Monday night.

According to Akron Police, police and fire crews were called to the 500 block of Lansing Avenue after neighbors reported gunshots and a fire.Police say crews also noticed the house was smoking due to a fire inside. Akron fire crews are working to contain the fire and still have not confirmed if anyone is inside the home.
