JOHOR BARU: Police have busted a sundry shop in Masai here that was used as a storeroom for contraband alcohol.
“The 21-year-old shop assistant was arrested for possessing the alcohol, which was stored in 66 cartons and 20 boxes worth around RM50,000 inclusive of taxes. Supt Mohd Sohaimi said that efforts are ongoing to identify the shop owner to determine where the items were obtained from and for what purposes.
