Police Col. Richard Caballero, Nueva Ecija police chief; Rommel Rama, Commission on Elections provincial election supervisor; Ofelio A. Tactac Jr., Department of Interior and Local Government-Nueva Ecija head; Dr. Ronilo E. Hilario, and Rev. Fr. Aldrin Domingo led about 300 BSKE candidates, chiefs of police, and force commanders in the unity walk from the freedom park on Burgos Ave. to the Nueva Ecija police headquarters on Burgos Ave. here.
The unity walk was followed by an inter-faith prayer to promote peace and uphold non-violent acts during the elections.Rama and Tactac reminded candidates not to engage in any forms of premature campaigning and vote-buying. A forum was also held for candidates to enable them to ask questions, clarify issues, and enrich their election awareness.
The event was highlighted by the ceremonial release of white balloons for orderly, clean, and peaceful elections.
