PM to continue dialogue on Sarawak, Sabah status in federation

Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has today expressed confidence that Sabah and Sarawak’s status within the federation will be resolved, despite a special committee not meeting initial deadlines, parliamentary truculence. – The Malaysian Insight pic by Afif Abd Halim, September 16, 2019.

PRIME Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad tonight gave his promise that the federal government will continue to work towards returning Sabah and Sarawak as equal partners in the federation, which includes resolve all outstanding disputes the two Borneo states have raised in the special cabinet committee on the implementation of the Malaysia 1963 Agreement.
