"It's very clear that Scott Morrison has waged an incredibly successful campaign," Howard told CNN affiliate Seven News, describing the incumbent leader as"magnificent." Just hours earlier on Saturday, the party faithful were looking at an exit poll stating they would win government with 52% of the vote.
