PM ketengah isu perubahan iklim pada UNGA 78

Anwar turut bakal mengetengahkan pendirian Malaysia terhadap cabaran dan konflik global seperti situasi di Palestin dan Myanmar.

PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim dijangka mengetengahkan isu-isu berkaitan perubahan iklim dalam Kenyataan Malaysia pada Sesi ke-78 Perhimpunan Agung Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu di New York, Amerika Syarikat.

“Perdana Menteri dijadual menyampaikan Kenyataan Negara itu semasa sesi Debat Umum bertemakan ‘Rebuilding trust and reigniting global solidarity: Accelerating action on the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals towards peace, prosperity, progress and sustainability for all’. Ini termasuk meningkatkan usaha-usaha untuk memastikan hak asasi manusia dipenuhi semua,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.

“Pertemuan tersebut akan mengeratkan hubungan dua hala yang sedia terjalin dengan negara-negara berkenaan, serta mengukuhkan persefahaman dalam isu serantau dan antarabangsa.
