PUTRAJAYA: The Prime Minister has invited political party leaders to come on board to discuss the list of proposals that the government will implement should the vote of confidence is passed.
Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said he will issue an official invitation to leaders of all political parties to attend the discussion.
“I am prepared to hear their views on the government's proposal,” said the Prime Minister during a special address on Friday . If the bi-partisan cooperation can be agreed upon, Muhyiddin said that he would call for the special Dewan Rakyat sitting to table the motion on vote of confidence for the Prime Minister soon.
“I give my word that my actions will be respectable and will be based on the Federal Constitution in resolving the current political crisis. “My priority is only to ensure that the government continues to function smoothly to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic and to ensure that the country recovers,” he said.
