“Rest assured, should the Matildas win the World Cup on home soil, I reckon there’ll be a race by Premiers to declare a public holiday,” Albanese said.Credit:The Matildas Instagram account has responded to the challenge with the word “bet” followed by an emoji of shaking hands. Last week, FIFA president Gianni Infantino said the ninth edition of the Women’s World Cup had sold 1,032,884 tickets, surpassing the previous tournament in France in 2019.
