PM defends MACC’s release of audio recordings

PRIME Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad has defended the release of audio recordings involving former prime minister Najib Razak and several others allegedly conspiring over 1Malaysia Development Bhd and SRC International. Dr Mahathir said the government had previously done something similar, when police raided Najib’s home and several other places in the course of their investigations and had paraded the seized items, including cash and jewellery.
