WELLINGTON: New Zealand will spend US$1.16 billion on a fleet of Sikorsky submarine-hunting helicopters to bolster its military capabilities, it announced Thursday (Aug 21).
KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called on the authorities to conduct a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the accident involving a Royal Malaysian Air Force F/A-18D Hornet fighter jet on Thursday night.
In a post on X Friday , the Prime Minister also urged the authorities to ensure that all necessary safety measures are implemented.Anwar expressed his sympathy for the pilot and co-pilot involved in the incident, offering prayers for their swift recovery and the smooth facilitation of their treatment.
