Also present were Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, Deputy Finance Minister Lim Hui Ying and IRB Chief Executive Officer Datuk Dr. Abu Tariq Jamaluddin.Anwar pointed out that Malaysia’s tax base and the number of taxpayers is among the lowest in Asia compared to other countries that demand larger tax contributions.
