Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim menerusi catatan di laman Facebook hari ini berkata dalam mengejar arus pembangunan, keharmonian dan perpaduan perlu diutamakan serta tidak dilupakan bagi membentuk kestabilan pentadbiran negara. “Ini selaras dengan konsep MADANI yang menuntut kita semua untuk mengenggam erat tali permuafakatan dalam menjayakan agenda pembangunan dan kemajuan negara, baik untuk hari ini dan juga hari mendatang,” kata beliau.
Menerusi catatan itu, Perdana Menteri turut mengucapkan selamat hari Wilayah Persekutuan buat seluruh warga Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya dan Labuan.Hari Wilayah Persekutuan disambut pada 1 Feb setiap tahun bagi memperingati pengisytiharan Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya dan Labuan sebagai Wilayah Persekutuan dan tahun ini merupakan sambutan kali ke-21.
