Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim took a break from his busy schedule to spend quality time with his grandchildren over a meal at a nasi kandar restaurant.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim shared a heartfelt moment over dinner with his grandchildren at a nasi kandar restaurant yesterday, 18 December. Anwar had just returned from an event at Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) when he decided to treat his grandchildren to a meal, according to his Facebook post. 'After the event at DBP, I made time to attend to my hungry grandchildren before heading home,' he said.
The post included photos of Anwar and his grandchildren, enjoying their meal at the lively restaurant, showing them placing orders and savouring their dishes together. In his poetic style, Anwar reflected on the moment by quoting lyrics from the song 'Nyanyian Serambi' by Ramli Sarip. He wrote,'Keluar pagi balik petang, adakala sampai malam; cari rezeki bawa pulang, buat orang yang tersayang...'. This translates to,'Heading out in the morning and returning in the evening, sometimes late at night; working hard to provide for loved ones,' reflecting his deep appreciation for family. Recently, Anwar was also spotted enjoying Asam Pedas with the King of Malaysia and the Johor Regent recently
