Thailand's Board of Investment said on Wednesday it has approved an investment of 10.5 billion baht ($312 million) by a subsidiary of Taiwan's Foxsemicon Integrated Technology.
KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 11 -- Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim delivers his keynote address at The Strategic Vision Group: Russia -Islamic World today. The two-day meeting, which runs until tomorrow, gathers over 200 representatives from government bodies, political, spiritual, and public organizations from 32 countries across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, as well as international organizations.
He stressed that the principles of As-Samud, Rahmah and Ehsan or the values of tolerance, compassion and humanity must guide the Muslim world in addressing global challenges. Anwar said platforms like the Russia-Islamic World Meeting should be used to promote these values to the international community, as they are relevant not only to the Muslim world but also to the global community.
Present were the Chairman of the Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision Group and Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov; Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu and Deputy Minister at Prime Minister’s Department Dr Zulkifli Hasan.
For instance, Anwar said Malaysia’s swift action against local incidents of religious intolerance demonstrates the country’s commitment to upholding the dignity of all faiths.
