SERDANG: Some 800 pre-schools under the Community Development Department (Kemas) will be digitalised, says Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
He said Kemas has yet to be digitalised although several ministries and government agencies have undergone digitalisation.
He also said there were many Kemas pre-schools which were in a dilapidated state and poorly maintained. He said some did not even have their own building. He said the government will also look into shortening the time taken for contract staff to be made permanent from 15 years to 10.
