Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell has questioned why it’s so hard for prime ministers to know the price of cost of living when it’s the biggest issue in Australia. In an interview with Sky News Australia on Sunday, Anthony Albanese failed to name the petrol price when asked, with the price of a litre having recently gone up from $2.10 to $2.20 a litre. “Of course, last year I caught Scott Morrison on the hop on the same thing,” Mr Clennell said. “Albanese’s Environment Minister was forced to defend him this morning.”
