The Mustangs have a potent offensive attack in Amie Sumrall and Avery Riley while experienced goalkeeper Grayson Bertrand will keep them in games.Most soccer experts expected Lake Creek, coached by George Hourahan, to be a team to watch this year after the Lions reached the playoffs last year and returned plenty of talent.
Lake Creek won a tournament at Baytown Lee in the first week and were third place in Corpus Christi this past Saturday. With a Jaxon Cranfill winner this past Saturday, Montgomery took third place in a 1-0 game over Madisonville at the Brenham Tournament.The Woodlands experienced the highs and lows of tournament play this past week, but left Allen ascending back up.
