In this interview, David Attenborough and executive producer, Mike Gunton, discuss some of their “hold your breath” moments from the series and how the filming of unique animal behaviour is contributing to science. In one scene, a leopard located high up in a tree attacks an antelope buck. “Suddenly you realise you haven’t written anything because, you know, you’re just completely held”, says Attenborough wondering if the leopard could possibly survive falling from such a height.
