NSTnation PKR Youth protests move to revoke congress invite to Azmin PKRyouth AzminAli invitation revoke
In a statement signed by 21 leaders, the group said the move to revoke the invitation by PKR’s secretary-general Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail was against the spirit of the congress, and subsequently the party.
“The statement by Saifuddin reflects there’s a crisis in the party. It also would give the wrong message to party members, especially the younger generation; unless he wishes to see clashes within the party,” the statement read. The statement was signed by PKR Youth deputy chief Muhammad Hilman Idham, vice-chiefs Mohd Nazree Yunus and Jestin Raj Savarimuthu, along with its council members Ahmad Khairul Mohamed Noor ; Athina Klaywa Sim ; Dr. Ahmad Khusyairi Khalid ; Kamis Burhan , Mohd Akmal Hisyam Ahmad Tamyiz ; Mohd Faizal Mohd Yusak ; Mohd Firdaus Yusof ; Mohd Izad Buqhari Mohd Kamri and Mohd Saifullah Mohd Zulkifli .
Others were Muhammad Affandi Abdul Malik ; Muhamad Aiman Aizuddin Md Husin ; Muhamad Saiful Bahari Sahari ; Muhammad Arif Mukhtar ; K. Nagarajan ; Nik Mohd Faris Syazwan Zainuzzaman ; Ong Jing Cheng ; S. Sarawanan and Wan Mohamad Fitri Wan Abdul Rahim . In the statement, the group also urged the party’s leadership to take action to restore the party back on the right track and to foster members’ unity.
