BN candidate M Ramasamy withdrew his election petition to challenge R Yuneswaran’s victory at GE15.
PETALING JAYA: R Yuneswaran will remain as the Segamat MP after Barisan Nasional candidate M Ramasamy withdrew his election petition to challenge the PKR man’s victory at the 15th general election .
The lawyer said the reason cited for Ramasamy’s withdrawal was that BN and Pakatan Harapan are coalition partners in the unity government.Also appearing for Yuneswaran were lawyers Lau Yi Leong and G Maniwanan, while Ramasamy was represented by Shafee Abdullah.
