A Filipino was among the close to a dozen fatalities of the Lunar New Year massacre inside a dance parlor in Monterey Park, California over the weekend, Deputy Consul General Ambrosio Enciso III of the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles said.

Enciso added they are still determining if a Filipino was also among those wounded. "'Yung mga injured 'di pa nire-release 'yung pangalan [Authorities have yet to release the names of the injured]," he said.— 10 at the scene and one at a local hospital while undergoing treatment.
