The Military Ordinariate of the Philippines is inviting the faithful to pray before the pilgrim relic of St. Therese of the Child Jesus which will be brought to different dioceses in the country from Jan. 2 to April 30.

“We are called to imitate the virtues of St. Therese in helping spread the Good News to all particularly to those who are lost. Let us be living witnesses to the love of God,” said Military Bishop Oscar Jaime Florencio over Radio Veritas.

The relic of the Little Flower of Jesus arrived in the country on Monday, January 2 to coincide with her 150th birth anniversary. It will make the rounds of the different dioceses until April 30. Bishop Florencio led the welcome ceremonies at the Shrine of St. Therese in Pasay City on January 2. Papal Nuncio Archbishop Charles John Brown presided over the holy mass.

The theme for the 5th pilgrim visit to the relic of the famous saint is ‘Lakbay Tayo St. Therese! Ka-Alagad, Kaibigan, Ka-Misyon!’ “May the pilgrim visit of the relic of St. Therese help deepen our faith and love in the Lord,” stressed Bishop Florencio.
