A young entrepreneur ‘Juneteenth’ in Woodland Hills is put on by ‘Black in the Valley’ and Zawadi Cultural Collective.
The 6th Annual Valley Juneteenth Community Celebration was sponsored by non-profit Zawadi Cultural Collective and hosted by Black In The Valley, drawing a big crowd on Saturday, June 18 at Pierce College in Woodland Hills. Shania Accius, president of the Zawadi Cultural Collective, says, “Our mission is to empower and inspire underserved families through culturally based programming and community driven initiatives.
