A 350-foot long mosaic mural, depicting the stories and heroes of Barrio Anita was unveiled at David G. Herrera and Ramon Quiroz Park in 2004. Here, Laura N. Banks jokes with friends in front of a part of the mosaic depicting her more than twenty years earlier, when she was principal of Cavett Elementary School.
