(Reuters) -Advance Auto Parts said on Thursday private equity firm Carlyle Group would buy its Worldpac unit for $1.5 billion in cash, sending its shares about 11% higher in premarket trade.

“PAOCC received a photo from a concerned citizen who happened to click a picture of dismissed Bamban mayor, Guo Hua Ping when she arrived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia via Jetstar Asia Airways 686. The said flight originated from Denpasar, Bali,” Cruz said in a statement sent to INQUIRER.net. Philippine police, meanwhile, confirmed that Alice Guo's sister, Sheila Guo, and a business associate Cassandra Ong landed at Ninoy Aquino International Airport at around 5pm on Thursday after their arrest in Indonesia on Wednesday morning.
Ong is the incorporator of the company that leased parcels of land to the Philippine offshore gaming operator hub in Porac, Pampanga. She was cited for contempt by the House quad-committee after failing to attend its hearings.
