Keynote speakers for the event included Undersecretary for Tourism Development Planning Myra Paz Valderrosa-Abubakar, and Mayor of Isabela City, Basilan Province, Sitti Djalia Turabin-Hataman. One of the key topics of the event revolved around the recent recognition of the Philippines as a Muslim-friendly destination. Undersecretary Abubakar provided insights into the initiatives undertaken by the Department of Tourism to enhance the experience of Muslim travelers and promote inclusivity in the tourism industry.
